The regional jail holds adult inmates charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes. The facility has a capacity of 226 inmates. Visitation at the Regional Jail

The Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail allows one 30-minute in-person visit per week for each inmate. Remote video visits are also available with no weekly limit. In-person visits must be scheduled in advance. Friday visits are for minimum security inmates only, from 12 pm to 4:25 pm. Saturday and Sunday visits run from 12 pm to 4:25 pm and again from 5 pm to 10 pm.

Remote video visits are scheduled through Securus Technologies. You will need to create an account and pick a time slot. Video visits let you see and talk with an inmate from your own home using a computer or phone. This can be helpful if you live far from the jail in Nelsonville.

You can add money to an inmate's account at the SEORJ in a few ways. The jail lobby accepts money orders and cash at any time. For online deposits, use the Access Corrections website. Service fees may apply to online and kiosk deposits. Commissary funds let inmates purchase snacks, hygiene products, and phone time from the jail store.

Mail Rules for Hocking County Inmates
